Recommended Dosage & Administration
Dosage Guidelines:
- Adults (18+ years): 1-2 tablets daily or as directed by physician
- Pregnant & Lactating Women: 1 tablet daily during pregnancy and lactation, or as directed by healthcare provider
- Adolescents (12-17 years): 1 tablet daily or as directed by physician
- Children below 12 years: Not recommended without medical supervision
Administration Instructions:
- Timing: Take with or after meals to minimize gastric irritation
- Liquid: Swallow whole with adequate water
- Avoid: Do not take with tea, coffee, milk, or calcium-rich foods as they reduce iron absorption
- Gap: Maintain 2-hour gap between iron supplement and other medications

Mechanism of Action:
MOFER XT contains ferrous ascorbate, which provides easily absorbable iron for hemoglobin synthesis. The combination with Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) enhances iron absorption, while Folic Acid and Vitamin B12 support DNA synthesis and red blood cell formation. Zinc supports immune function and wound healing.
Contraindications:
- Hemochromatosis (iron overload)

- Known hypersensitivity to any component
